Absorbeo Ichthyosis, commonly known as "Blister Skin."
This is a rare condition where a child is born with skin that heavily absorbs mana from the environment with no regulation or limit. The resulting excess of mana causes the skin to mutate and deform depending on the environment the child is exposed to. The limb mutations can be so severe they can become necrotic, resulting in the need to amputate.
People with Absorbeo Ichthyosis tend to have six times the mana reserves of a regular mage. However, these mages need an external device to regulate their massive output of mana.
